The Violet Initiative (“Violet”) is a national not-for-profit (DGR1) organisation helping people talk about and plan for the last chapters of life. Through fully funded Guided Support Programs and free resources, Violet ensures all Australians can access support regardless of their circumstances.
To deliver innovative, scalable, and sustainable solutions, Violet partners with Twilight Labs, a technology company developing software to reduce the burden of end-of-life care. Twilight Labs trades under the name ‘Violet’, essentially providing a single front door for all aspects of this chapter of life.
Twilight Labs licenses the Care Compass product to Violet’s NFP in perpetuity, at no cost, ensuring community access remains free. Each organisation operates under a distinct governance structure.
This hybrid structure increases our reach and impact, strengthens Violet’s sustainability, reduces reliance on government funding, and ensures Australians continue to benefit from world-class, evidence-based solutions for the last stage of life.
